ComputersOff.ORG is a non-profit organisation. The organisation's mission is to engage with, and educate individuals and corporations on the environmental footprint of technology, and assist them in reducing the related greenhouse gas emissions produced by technology. 

One of the key ways we achieve this through education and action programs, which are funded by donations and a certification program.  See About Us for further information on ComputersOff.ORG.

In 2010, ComputersOff.ORG aims to raise enough money for the following education and action programs:

Campaign 1 - International Green IT Awareness Week

Green IT Week is a global initiative to bring about implementation of green IT.  During Green IT Week we are asking individuals and organisations to commit to making a change - big or small - that will help improve their IT environmental footprint.

You can support Green IT Week in many different ways including:

	Donate Cash	Green IT Week costs a huge amount to run.  All donations from Green IT Week will support funding the week's activities and programs, and if we have any funds leftover they will fund our other education and action programs throughout the year (see our Campaigns below for further details).
	Donate In Kind	Do you have a product or service you think would benefit the development and implementation of Green IT Week?  Contact Us to discuss donating it in kind to help the cause.
	Sponsor	Sponsoring the major virtual event is a great way to get your organisation's green IT products, services and/or activities in the spotlight.  There are a range of sponsorship opportunities available including Exhibiting, Major sponsorship and Activity Sponsorship. 	Share	Share the details of Green IT Week with 10 people you know!  You can send them our website URL, or if you find an interesting article on our site, just use the Share button to share it to social tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Digg.
	Support	Are you taking an action during Green IT Week?  Why not share it with the world - list your action in the Supporters Directory.

Campaign 2 - Greenitopedia

Across the world there are huge amounts of information on Green IT being generated. Our goal is to develop an online encyclopedia of Green IT which can be used as a directory and central source of Green IT information. 

We have already registered the domain name - www.greenitopedia.org - however now we need funding to build it!

We are looking for cash and/or in-kind donations from anyone - big or small - to help the development of this project.

Campaign 3 - Greening Tech Consumers

This campaign is targeted at consumers and will promote choosing the most environmentally friendly computing and/or electronics options in retail stores. 

We are looking for cash and/or in-kind donations from individuals and businesses to support the program. 

In particular we are looking for electronics retail stores in countries across the world to take on the program.
