Joining us in this year's International Green IT Awareness Week is Ms. Carol Baroudi, author of Green IT for Dummies, in a webinar to talk about how it's imperative that we move from “Green IT” to “Sustainable IT.”
This session talks about what that means and pays particular attention to aspects of sustainable IT that reach outside our traditional energy focus. The webinar will touch on the following topics:
The entire IT asset lifecycle
Where and how our devices are created – and from what
What typically happens when we don’t want them anymore
What it would mean to create a cradle to cradle IT ecosystem
What we can and need to do in the mean time
